Easy and delicious nachos made right on your Flat Top Griddle!
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning
- 12 ounces Tortilla Strips
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese
- 1/2 cup Diced Tomato
- 1/4 cup Bell Peppers
- 2 tablespoons Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup Shredded Lettuce
Instructions:
- Prepare the Griddle: Preheat your Flat Top Griddle to medium heat.
- Prepare Toppings: Dice tomatoes and peppers, shred lettuce.
- Oil the Griddle: As the griddle heats, apply olive oil and spread with a griddle spatula.
- Cook the Beef: When the griddle is hot, add ground beef. Cook, breaking it up, until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
- Season the Beef: Top the cooked beef with taco seasoning and water. Mix well.
- Assemble Nachos: Place tortilla chips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top with the beef mixture and shredded cheese.
- Melt Cheese (Optional): Place the baking sheet on the hot griddle and cover with a dome lid for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle with chopped bell peppers, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and sour cream.
- Serve: Serve hot.
