Flat Top Griddle Nachos

Easy and delicious nachos made right on your Flat Top Griddle!

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • 12 ounces Tortilla Strips
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Diced Tomato
  • 1/4 cup Bell Peppers
  • 2 tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Lettuce

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Griddle: Preheat your Flat Top Griddle to medium heat.
  2. Prepare Toppings: Dice tomatoes and peppers, shred lettuce.
  3. Oil the Griddle: As the griddle heats, apply olive oil and spread with a griddle spatula.
  4. Cook the Beef: When the griddle is hot, add ground beef. Cook, breaking it up, until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  5. Season the Beef: Top the cooked beef with taco seasoning and water. Mix well.
  6. Assemble Nachos: Place tortilla chips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top with the beef mixture and shredded cheese.
  7. Melt Cheese (Optional): Place the baking sheet on the hot griddle and cover with a dome lid for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
  8. Add Toppings: Sprinkle with chopped bell peppers, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and sour cream.
  9. Serve: Serve hot.
